Engine house and nearby, photos 2004-13

As mentioned on the previous page, I seem to have assembled many photos of the engine house (York waterworks building, about to be The Star Inn the City) and nearby buildings in that corner of the Museum Gardens over the years 2004-2013 (mainly 2007-2013). These are in date order and give a sense of the place as it was and how it’s changing now.

    In some ways its great to see a building being re-used after too many years standing derelict (why? might I ask) but having seen what’s happened to the village of Harome where the village hall was now derelict as no-one actually lives there anymore (its all holiday lets), the city mustn’t expect any favours…
