Springtime in Yorkshire, in other years

It’s the Easter weekend, and the last day of the month of March. It’s been a cold and dark March this year.
I’ve been looking through my vast collection of images from many walks in Yorkshire in springtime in previous years. Thought I’d share some, of fields, paths, churches, Yorkshire in springtime sunshine, in the hope of bringing cheer. They’re enlargeable to a more impressive size.

Early March 2010, a walk from Coneysthorpe, Castle Howard area. Predominantly brown. This year it still looks predominantly brown in late March. Here’s hoping for green soon.
