Originally included in "Ripe for redevelopment", Foss Bridge House deserves a page on its own, being rather more attractive than some of those more utilitarian buildings, and indeed a Grade II listed building.

For many years the home of Stubbs the Ironmongers, it was easy to miss the rather handsome facade of this building if you were intent on shopping for ironmongery.

Stubbs have relocated, and the building is to be redeveloped.
