Started in 1966 and left in 1984. It’s been a newsagent for at least the last 60 years. Like the Athertons, they made many friends and Mum (age 92 now) passes the shop every week to collect her pension. Tony & Julie had a hairdressing shop upstairs.

Once had an upstairs selling repro vintage posters.still have a lovely brass chestnut roaster bought here circa 1988.It was always destined for a period cottage and now lives in one. Who ever ran Past Times should be jailed for the incompetence which ran the shops in to the ground
