Just got the Tribunal response back, Council not contesting so justice has been served fairly for a change. My appeal was based on the inadequate nature of the signage. Good luck if you are going to appeal also though i don’t think you’ll have much trouble if you do. Seems the council are finally getting the message. Still a huge waste of time and stressful!

I’ve just sent off my reappeal and will update when i’ve heard from them, many thanks for the previous comments. What a ridiculous, frustrating situation and waste of time and money (not for the council at least) here’s hoping justice is served.

Just wanted to share some good news. We have just had our re-appeal upheld on the grounds that the council are not contesting the reappeal.
I hope this gives hope to the people with 2,3,4 or 5 PCNs.
Don’t be put off appealing your Lendal Bridge PCN even if the first one is turned down or the fact that you could end up paying £60 if your re-appeal is not upheld.
26,000 drivers who have gone over the bridge must show that the Council have caused a huge problem!
Stand firm everyone. Together we stand, divided we fall!

I saw the AA man putting a new sign up the other day outside the station. And he needed to. The original one was on a post behind the sign telling you where the parking is for the station so only pedestrians ever saw it.
You could say York gets another Shambles.
