My granny, Audrey Richardson, wrote this. Sadly, she passed away at the age of 96 on July 11 2024. I am doing some research to the to complete the book she began writing about her life. Kitch was my great grandfather and I loved them both very much.

Thank you for adding a comment Bob, I’ve sent you an email on the address you provided. I put the page together with these wonderful memories Audrey sent me, some years back now. I often think of Kitch’s garage when I walk past where it used to be – even though it was before my time, Audrey’s memories conjure it all up so well, this area of Clifton at that time.

Oh, so many lovely memories, I am sat here in tears thinking of the happy times I had as a boy listening to My Dad and Kitch “Yarning” while we were having a break.Thank you so much Audrey.
