&lt;p&gt;Thoughtful and well-put, as ever. I wish I knew the answer - it&#8217;s a world-wide problem. Meanwhile, I think we have to hope that swapping from an old to a new storage format every few years will get progressively easier and keep on doing just that.&lt;/p&gt;
