Bit of a long shot this but I’m working in the grounds of a Littleton hall Chester and have discovered a sewage filtration are with an Adams name plate attached . Have you any idea if / how I could trace evidence of the installation. Of relevance maybe the fact that an Adams sewage pump was installed on the nearby A41 at the request of Chester city council

Just flicking through myobile, reading about old York, remember Capaldis ice cream shop opposite Clifford's tower, Dad (Andy Geraughty once told me we were related to the Capaldis, unfortunately that is all I knew. I remember someone we used to call Uncle Wally, he rode a bicycle with a small attachment on the front holding the icecream &rode up &down the streets selling from his bike, Dad said he was a relative of ours? If anyone can shed any light on this person or his muched loved bike I would love to here from them, I hope this memory of mine brings back fond memories for others. I am 76 years old so I'm going back to my younger years. Born in 1948 lived in Walmgate , went to St George's Roman Catholic junior school from age 5,lived in Edwin St nearly on St George's Church door step.anny info will be glad you here from you.
