I often visit York, to enjoy a good wander about in and around the old city. These are opportunities to discover more about the ‘Actual’ York, plus taking many photos of worthy sites & sights. Is there a way to get my photos & dialogue onto this website? I took the up-to-date ‘Bile Beans’ advert photo 21/04/2014, bright & cheerful

This was covered up in the late 60s with advertising boards, better uncovered i think

I’m really pleased to see that I helped to spark off large number of Bile Beans -related posts here. I think I might be in the ‘leave it to decay’ camp - the new one looks so garish.

Thanks for mentioning my site, I love the 1970s photo and it’s the first I’ve seen of the sign before the 1980s restoration. I look forward to seeing more about the current restoration effort.
