I grew up in the area and we always called it the Adams Family house, I think I remember there being tennis courts in the it’s grounds. Someone will be making a fortune out of it, but it’s not progress, it’s short sighted greed.

This year we’ve seen the railway buildings demolished, the Yearsley Grove demolished and now Burnholme Club! Money talks, and certain parties don’t give a stuff about our history and historic buildings. I swear they’d demolish the Minster if the profits were good enough!
